These Terms and Conditions outline how our Eyecloud Product warranty service works. When you sign up for Eyecloud, you're agreeing to follow these rules.

Who's Covered?
Eyecloud guarantees apply to optical glasses and prescription sunglasses. For optical glasses, this means a frame and one pair of corrective lenses. Prescription sunglasses also need corrective lenses.

What We Cover:
Breakage: If your glasses or frames break due to manufacturing defects, we've got you covered.
Major Scratches: Scratches that get in your way of clear vision are included.
Kids' Prescription Changes: If your child is under 12, and their prescription changes, we'll take care of it.

How Long It Lasts:
Eyecloud warranty is good for a whole year from the purchase date on your invoice. You can use it once a year. The cost depends on the type of lenses you choose.

What's Not Included:
Theft and Loss: Unfortunately, we can't cover if your eyewear gets lost or stolen.
Normal Wear and Tear: Everyday use may cause small scratches, which aren't covered.
Adult Prescription Changes: For those 12 and older, prescription changes are not part of the warranty.
Sunglasses Without Prescription: Sunglasses that don't have a prescription aren't included.

Signing Up and Getting Started
You can subscribe to the Eyecloud warranty until the delivery date of your glasses, whether it's when you purchase the optical equipment or during the delivery and payment process.

Guarantee Coverage
Eyecloud Warranty covers a frame with a pair of single vision corrective lenses or progressive corrective lenses, including those stylish options. You have the option to repair or replace these lenses or the frame once a year in case of damage.

Lens Replacement Conditions
In case of scratches affecting your vision or lens breakage that's not due to a manufacturing defect, Eyecloud Warranty commits to replacing the corrective lenses with a new pair of lenses with the same prescription.

Frame Repair or Replacement
If your frame breaks or experiences wear that's not due to a lack of conformity, Eyecloud Warranty is here to help. We'll repair it or replace it with the same frame if it's available. If it's not, you can choose a different one that suits you in the same price

Correction Change for Children
Eyecloud Warranty has a special promise for kids under 12: If their prescription changes, we'll swap their lenses for free! We'll even fit the new lenses into the same frame you got. You can use this perk once a year from the day you bought the gear (just check the invoice). All we need is a valid prescription from your doctor, and we'll take care of the rest.

What's Not Covered
Our warranty is amazing, but it won't cover things like if something happens on purpose or if you don't follow our care instructions. Also, things like water splashes (showers, pools, washing machines) are a no-go. A few scratches or bumps that don't affect how your gear works are also not included. Sunglasses without prescriptions, extra lenses for grown-ups with prescription changes, and lost stuff aren't part of our warranty.

How long it take
We're committed to getting your gear back to you as soon as possible. In most cases, we aim to complete the repair or replacement within 7 working days. However, please keep in mind that sometimes unexpected factors can cause delays that are beyond our control. But don't worry, we're here to make the process as smooth as possible.

Return of Repaired or Replaced Equipment
Once the repair or replacement has been carried out, the customer will be informed of the availability of his repaired or replaced equipment. The customer will have to collect his equipment from the store. If the customer cannot collect his equipment in person, he can designate a trusted person to do so.

Limitation of Exchange
The customer can exchange his glasses covered by the Eyecloud Warranty only once during the period of validity of one year.

Limited Replacement Lens Options
Once the exchange has been made, the Eyecloud warranty for that particular piece of equipment will be considered used.
In case a customer requests an exchange or replacement of lenses, they have the option to choose replacement lenses that match the original ones, including the same prescription and characteristics. It's important to note that customers cannot select replacement lenses with a different prescription, unless they are eligible for the correction change guarantee for children under 12 years of age. If a customer wishes to upgrade their lenses during this process, we provide them with our regular add-on pricing and facilitate the lens upgrade.

Rules for Using Replacement Lenses
Replacement lenses provided under the Eyecloud warranty will be fitted into the original frame. If the customer decides to use the replacement lenses in another frame, Eyecloud cannot be held responsible for any fit or compatibility issues. We will only fit the lenses into the original frame.

Replacement in Case of Unavailability of the frame
In the event that the original frame is out of stock or no longer available, Eyecloud undertakes to offer an equivalent replacement frame, as far as possible, at the same price as the frame of origin. If the replacement frame is less expensive than the original frame, the customer will not be entitled to any refund of the difference in price.

Customer Responsibility for Incorrect Information
It's on you to provide accurate and precise details when you sign up for Eyecloud Warranty, especially when it comes to your corrective lens prescription. Eyecloud Warranty can't be responsible for mistakes or omissions in the info you give us, including any prescription errors from an optometrist or ophthalmologist not associated with our store.

Cancellation of Warranty
We have the right to end the warranty if you misuse or fraudulently use it. If that happens, you won't enjoy the guarantee perks anymore, and any costs you've already paid won't be reimbursed.

Modification of Rates and Services
Please be informed that Eyecloud Warranty retains the prerogative to modify warranty fees and services whenever necessary. Any such alterations will be conveyed to you via our website or email communication.

Credit for Caution
If you don't need to utilize your Eyecloud warranty and everything remains in impeccable condition throughout the year we have a little reward for you.
- We'll provide you with a credit note equivalent to the amount of the guarantee. This credit note is akin to a voucher that you can use when you make purchases of optical glasses or prescription sunglasses from Eyecloud at a later time.
- No need to worry about it – we'll automatically send you the credit note after the one-year warranty period concludes.
- Keep in mind that this credit note is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. Once that year elapses, the credit note will expire and can no longer be utilized.
- To receive the credit note on your wallet you have to provide your phone number during the purchase.
- Please note that the credit is not refundable to you in the form of cash and refund to your bank account.

Exclusions from Reimbursement
While Eyecloud guarantee is super handy, there are a couple of scenarios where automatic reimbursement doesn't kick in:
- If you've already let us know about and we've taken care of any covered damage or issues during the guarantee's validity period.
- If you decide to cancel the guarantee before it ends, we've already processed a refund based on Eyecloud Warranty refund policies.
